WONKA DID IT!

From the moment sweet Chalamet's eye twinkled as he stood upon the crow's nest of a boat orchestrating a dream to bring the best chocolate experience to the world ... I was primed.

Stories. Dreams. Songs. All have the power to captivate our tired, over-worked attention, and sneak in a whisper. There is ... more.

As a sweet verse in Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) reminds us:

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion. Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

I don't know about you, but the invitation to lose myself in words, whether memory-filled stories, biographies of the greats, influential teachers' wisdom or just guidebooks for life - my season is in need of season-ing.

I love the world of blogging. I've designed many a blogging site and filled it with stuff (ha!). I love reading other people's thoughts on a book I'm reading, or finding a new author I was unlikely to find in the monotony of my own existence. There is beauty out there, beauty, goodness and truth.

We just need to remember how to connect with one another again.

Bookographs has been created to review books, to create visually appealing 'bookographics' (kind of like infographics with mini book reviews, author and topical connection points) and to point us all in the direction of the words we need.

This site is primarily a blogging site. A place to connect with other readers and share our season-ing. There will also be links to the books I'm reading, connection points to podcasts and authors that are worth their weight in gold.

This is a connecting point to navigate from. Welcome!
